Dodge City is used to taking lengthy road trips. A trip to Garden City is a mere hour, and yet is a short trip for the Red Demons. A venture to the Wichita area to play Campus wasn’t too lengthy for a team used to travelling, and the Red Demons didn’t disappoint, winning 34-12 on Sept. 6. Beau Foster had a big game with 185 passing yards and 121 yards on the ground. He also accounted for five touchdowns. He threw two TD passes to Matt Friess. Dodge City returned to Wichita on Sept. 20 to play Wichita Heights.
