Tuesday’s basketball scores, recaps (Dec. 15)

Boys

Andover 62, Eisenhower 54 OT — Andover’s high scorers were Jack Johnson (21), Kaleb Gaddis (14), sophomore BJ Redic (13) and sophomore Brady Strausz (10). Eisenhower was led by Cody Houser (19), Nick Hogan (16) and Tyler Roth (11).

Arkansas City 52, Salina Central 45 — Arkansas City was led by Doug Stewart’s 14 points. Reed McHenry had 16 points for Salina Central.

Augusta 76, Winfield 65 — Brendan Parker led Augusta with 25 points, and Kaden McDaniel added 14, El Wilcox 13. Parker also had four assists and four steals, hitting 8 of 9 from the field.

Belle Plaine 58, Chaparral 49 — Austin Hilton had 16 points for Belle Plaine, Eli Wiseman had 15 and Isaac Bible 14. Chaparral was led by Alec Pfaff’s 18 and Jackson Swartz had 17.

Cheney 73, Trinity Academy 70 OT — Luke Grace sent the game into overtime with a basket at the end of regulation. Grace finished with 20 points, while Harrison Middleton had 17. Ryland Doshier, who scored 11 of the team’s first 20 points, finished with 22.

Derby 67, Maize 59 — Amari Thomas led Derby with 22 points, hitting three three-pointers, while Fontaine Williams had 16 points after hitting four three-pointers. Kole Barger added 11 points. In the final period, Derby got eight points from Barger, seven from Thomas and five from Blake Chadwick. Avery Johnson scored 21, hitting three three-pointers, to lead Maize and Jacob Hanna added 16.

Douglass 64, Conway Springs  42– Arevalo had 12 points for Douglass.Conway Spring’s Osner had a game-high 22 points, Johnson had 17 and Hilger had 11.

Garden Plain 77, Independent 54 — Tyler Dreiling and Colby Haukap led Garden Plain with 25 and 22 points. Arden Rex added 12. Independent’s Martin had 20 and Guinn had 14.

McPherson 65, El Dorado 54 — McPherson coach Kurt Kinnamon won his 500th game as the Bullpups’ coach. Seth Madron led McPherson with 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting and had six rebounds, four assists. Jayten Alexander had seven assists and Jayden Dukes had six. LJ Berkstresser led El Dorado with 22 points, hitting 7 of 14 shots. Teammate Zach Whittenberg had 12.

Mulvane 63, Rose Hill 58 — Trey Abasolo with 40 points to lead all scorers.

Northwest 74, North 52 — Northwest was led by Todric McGee (13), Carson Arndt (12), Tasean Williams (12) and Geremiah Moore (11). Sophomore Michael Bailey had 20 points to lead North, while Taye Lawrie had 13.

Salina South 56, Maize South 48 — Josh Jordan had 21 points for Salina South.

Valley Center 68, Andover Central 61 — Valley Center’s Isaacs had a game-high 25 points, while Phillips added 19. Brian Perry had 17 for Andover Central, and teammates Adam Ray added 13 and Skylar. Clevenger 12.

Wellington 62, Andale 59 —Wellington was led by Meyer’s 23, Hinshaw had 12, J. WRight had 11 and Wright 10. J. Potucek led Andale with 16, Spexarth 15 and Reichenberger 12.

Wichita Collegiate 69, Clearwater 52 — Collegiate was led by Jack Duarte’s 21 points, hitting five three-pointers. Charlie Goree added 10 and Wesley Fair had 10. All eight of Clearwater’s players scored.

Andover Central 62, Valley Center 50 — Brittany Harshaw had a game-high 29 for Andover Central. Anna Eldridge had 19 points for Valley Center.

Chaparral 39, Belle Plaine 18 — Sophie Francis had 11 for Chaparral, while Cheyenne Cooper had 11 for Belle Plaine.

Cheney 67, Trinity Academy 57  — Cheney’s Kylee Scheer had 30 points and B. McCormick 11, B. Wewe 12. Austin Broadie had 26 for Trinity Academy Ashlyn Bigelow had 12.

Circle 45, Buhler 28 — Kimalee Cook had 15 for Circle and Lanna Chase had 14. Buhler’s Lackey had 15.

Clearwater 47, Collegiate 36 — Carli Carlson had 23 points for Clearwater.

Douglass 43, Conway Springs 31 — Megli had 11 and Delano had 10 for Douglass. May had 13 for Conway Springs.

Garden Plain 60, Independent 41 — Madysen Zoglman had 17 points for Garden Plain and five rebounds. Madelyn Rolfs had 10 points and five rebounds. Brooke Hammond had four steals. Malgosia Byckowska had 12 points for Independent and Mim Phillips had 10.

Goddard 33, Campus 26 — Goddad was led by Maycee James’ 13 and Lauryn Goroan’s 11. Campus’ T. Tindall had 11.

Kapaun 60, Wichita South 34 — Jennifer Jacobs led Kapaun with 14, Ella Anciaux had 13 and Lizzie Romer had 10. Zion Butler led South with 16.

McPherson 74, El Dorado 25 — McPherson was led by Grace Pyle’s 24 points, Kassidy Beam’s 22. Pyle added eight steals and Beam had five. Beam hit 4 of 9 threes. Bailey Camien had 14 points to lead El Dorado.

Nickerson 47, Haven 40 — Reese Roper had 14 points to lead Haven.

North 57, Northwest 28 — Noel Brown had 21 for North, while Taryn St. Clair had 11 and AmUnique Cavitt had 11. T. Hatton had 12 points for Northwest.

Rose Hill 58, Mulvane 38 — Rose Hill was led by Haley Thrush (16), Korryn Hackney (15), Lexie Rose (11) and Aspen Goetz (11).

Salina Central 66, Arkansas City 12 — Ten of 11 players scored for Salina Central. Aubrie Kierscht had a game-high 14 points.

Smoky Valley 44, Hesston 39, 2OT — Ellie Brumbaugh led Smoky Valley with 15 and Haxton had 12. Katie Kueker had 12 points for Hesston and Brooklynn Moore had 10. It was Smoky Valley’s first win in Hesston since the 2004-05 season.
