Boys

Belle Plaine 60, Douglass 43 — Eli Wiseman scored a game-high 20 points for Belle Plaine, and Isaac Bible had 14. Mason Megli scored 13 for Douglass.

Cheney 73, Kingman 47

Hesston 50, Halstead 16

Kapaun Mount Carmel 80, West 41 — Blake Danitschek led all scorers with 17 points in Kapaun’s win. Henry Thengvall added 14 for Kapaun, while Grant Johnson and Will Anciaux each had 11. West’s Keith Gray scored a team-high 14 points and Hezekiah Washington added 12.

Maize 65, Newton 49 — Jacob Hanna scored a team-high 17 points for Maize, while Avery Johnson had 15 and Kyle Grill 11. Jaxon Brackeen scored 35 points, hitting five three-pointers, for Newton.

Maize South 62, Dodge City 52 — Jeron Askren scored 19 points and had seven rebounds in the victory for Maize South. Josh Queen added 13 points and Isaiah Atwater had 14.

Thomas More Prep 78, SE-Saline 36

Valley Center 68, Andover Central 48 — Noah Simmons scored 19 to lead Valley Center, and teammates Kaleb Harden and Braden Dalrymple had 12 apiece. Andover Central’s Matt Sears and Brian Perry each had 13, while Skylar Clevenger had 10.

Winfield 69, El Dorado 62 — El Dorado’s Zach Wittenberg had 21 points.

Girls

Andover Central 62, Valley Center 37 — Brittany Harshaw led Andover Central with 19 points and Maddie Amekporfor had 17. Valley Center’s Anna Eldridge scored 11.

Cheney 66, Kingman 25 — Kylee Scheer scored a game-high 25 points and Campbell Hague had 14.

Douglass 55, Belle Plaine 45 — Douglass’ Rebecca Hadjukovich scored 19 points. Alana Mowdy had 13 for Belle Plaine and Cheyenne Cooper 11.

Eureka 60, Humboldt 31

Hesston 44, Halstead 31 — Hesston’s Caryn Yoder scored 13 and Katie Kueker had 10.
