Boys

Andale 51, Mulvane 40 — Wyatt Spexarth scored 25 to lead Andale.

Andover 75, Arkansas City 53 — Eli Shetlar scored a game-high 18 points, hitting four three-pointers for Andover, and Blake Rucker had 15 points, Chris Harris 11 and BJ Redic and Josh Kim each with 10. Trevor Pierce had 17 for Arkansas City, Clark 14.

Andover Central 60, Salina Central 51 — Kobe Smith led Andover Central with 20, Brian Perry had 13 and Chance Gulley 11. Salina Central’s Gibson scored 13, Jones 11.

Augusta 57, Rose Hill 47 — Augusta’s Marcus McClanahan hit six three-pointers and finished with a game-high 20 points, and Kaden McDaniel had 10 points in the win. Rose Hill’s Evans had 17 points, 15 in the first half, and Kellan Simoneau had 11 points, hitting 7 of 8 free throws.

Derby 62, Salina South 36 — Derby hit 6 of 11 first-quarter shots, including 4 of 7 from three, as it controlled the game from the start. The Panthers outrebounded Salina South 43-24, including 32-11 in the first three quarters. Derby was led by Kaden Franklin’s 17 points, nine rebounds, Dallas Metzger’s 14 points, five rebounds, Kaeson Fisher-Brown’s 13 points, and Cooper Chadwick and Caleb Brown, who each had seven rebounds. Jace Humphrey scored 15 to lead Salina South and had seven of his 11 rebounds in the final period, and Quevon Purucker scored 13.

Haven 52, Pratt 40

Hesston 69, Halstead 19 — Hesston’s Proctor scored 26 points, all in the first three quarters, as 11 Swathers players scored.

Hillsboro 63, Larned 28 — Hillsboro’s Brekyn Ratzlaff made 11 of 19 from the field, including 4 of 7 from three, for a game-high 32 points. He also had four steals.

Hutchinson 75, Eisenhower 56

Kapaun 70, Wichita East 46 — Max Keller scored 16 and Will Anciaux had 15 in the Kapaun win. East’s Cameron Davis scored 10.

Little River 46, Canton-Galva 42 — Braxton Lafferty scored 23 points and had six steals in the win for Little River. Jett Vincent scored 15 and had 13 rebounds for Canton-Galva.

Macksville 53, Kinsley 25

Maize 76, Campus 69 — Brayden Myovela scored 22 points to lead Maize in the win, Alec Grill scored 15, hitting three three-pointers. Alan Hanna had 19 for Maize, and Jaxon Booth had 12 points. Campus’ Andrell Burton scored a game-high 34 points, and Kaason Thomas had 22.

McPherson 56, Hays 50 — Cory Muehler scored 12 for McPherson, Kreighton Kanitz 11 and Mason Miller 10. Muehler had four assists, Miller five rebounds. Hays was led by Jack Weimer’s 14 points, Jason VanDerwege’s 12 and Edwin Muller’s 11.

Sterling 74, Sedgwick 34 — Boston Ekart scored 16 and Colby Beagley had 15 points after hitting five three-pointers for Sterling. Sedgwick was led by Christian Brown’s 13 points and Koen Warner’s 11.

Wichita Heights 54, Wichita South 32 — Marcus Zeigler led Heights with 15 points, T.J. Williams had 14 and Amalachi Wilkins 10 in the win. Zeigler also had five rebounds, six assists and four steals, while Wilkins had 14 rebounds, three blocks, and Williams nine rebounds, four assists.

Wichita Northwest 61, Wichita Southeast 55 — Northwest had a one-point lead heading into the final period when Tasean Williams scored 10 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth. He made five three-pointers in the game. DJ Brown scored 12 and Asa Barnes made three three-pointers and finished with 11 for Southeast.

Girls

Andale 47, Mulvane 20 — Schrandt had 11, Mackenzie Fairchild 10 in the victory. Teagan Garrison scored 10 for Mulvane.

Andover 56, Arkansas City 26

Andover Central 52, Salina Central 39 — Jaylee Jefferson hit five three-pointers and finished with 15 points for Andover Central, and Hayden Snodgrass had 11. Triplett scored 10 for Salina Central.

Augusta 41, Rose Hill 32 — Avery Williams scored 15, Aspen Peterson 13 in Augusta’s win.

Berean Academy 31, Remington 20

Bluestem 41, Fredonia 31

Cheney 51, Belle Plaine 29 — Leah Durr scored 13 to lead Cheney, Elina Bartlett and Campbell Hague had 10 apiece.

Concordia 43, Abilene 30

Conway Springs 55, Chaparral 44 — Melissa Ebenkamp scored 15 points, Raylee Chitwood had 10 points, five rebounds for Conway Springs. Katelyn Koester scored points, hitting 6 of 7 from the free-throw line, and had four assists. Chaparral’s Auburn Hill had 22 points.

Derby 47, Salina South 32 — Addy Brown scored Derby’s first 11 points en route to a 29-point game with 13 rebounds, four steals and two blocks. Macy Yost had 10 for Salina South. Derby led 15-12 at the half after shooting 6 of 25 from the field in the first half. But in the third quarter, Derby hit 8 of 16 from the field, including 2 of 3 from three as it outscored Salina South 21-8.

Eisenhower 55, Hutchinson 44 — Eisenhower trailed by four heading into the fourth quarter and outscored Hutchinson 23-12 in the period. Addison Verbeck hit four three-pointers and had 23 points in the win — 14 in the fourth quarter — Isa Worford had 12 in the game. Josie McLean scored 12 for Hutchinson and Aliyah Green 11.

Ell-Saline 60, Inman 58 OT — Suttyn Harris had 28 points, 12 rebounds to lead Inman, and Kenna Woods had 10 points.

Garden Plain 49, Independent 39 — Garden Plain’s Madelyn Rolfs had 17 points, six rebounds, Molly Zoglman 10 points, Sydney Puetz nine rebounds and four steals, Ryleigh Stuhlsatz seven rebounds. Samiyah Ellis scored 12 points to lead Independent and had six rebounds, Stephie Selumu six rebounds.

Haven 38, Pratt 35 — Sienna DeFrain had 12 points, eight rebounds, Avery Brawner six rebounds for Haven as coach Dwight Roper earned his 525th victory.

Hesston 42, Halstead 33 — Brueggen scored 16 points in Hesston’s win.

Hillsboro 52, Larned 15 — Savannah Shahan had 18 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field, and Kori Arnold had 12 to lead Hillsboro. Zaylee Werth had six assists, four steals. Larned’s Collins had 10 points.

Kapaun 54, Wichita East 47 — Lizzie Romer hit four three-pointers and scored 22 of her 24 points in the first three quarters in the win. Sophia Gimino had 13 points for Kapaun. Nyah Chandler scored 23 for East and Juliyah Manuel had 10.

Little River 74, Canton-Galva 57 — Alaina Eck scored 26, hitting 16 of 24 from the field, Aubrey Olander had 24 points, 13 rebounds in the win. Trinity Espinoza had 18 points to lead Canton-Galva.

Lyons 39, Nickerson 38

Maize South 45, Newton 7

McPherson 52, Hays 34 –McPherson was led by Karter Alvord, who scored 17 points and Jordan Sears, who had 16. Sears also had nine rebounds, Alexis Dukes six, Chloe Clevenger five assists. Hays’ Katie Linneberger scored 13 points.

Norwich 54, Stafford 21

Sedgwick 56, Sterling 47 — Addie Fitch and Gaby Peterson scored 13 and 12 points for Sedgwick. Fitch scored seven in the fourth, hitting 7 of 9 free throws in the period. Bella Brownlee had 19 for Sterling.

SE-Saline 52, Beloit 35

Valley Center 44, Goddard 31 — M. Thatcher scored 12 to lead Valley Center.

Wichita Heights 51, Wichita South 45

Wichita Southeast 50, Wichita Northwest 39 — Jakhia Jones and Leela Jones had 15 and 10 points for Southeast. Northwest was led by Kamyra Barber, who had 17, and Nascent Robinson with 16.

Winfield 53, El Dorado 20

Clearwater 51, Trinity Academy 36 — Elizabeth Tjaden set a school record with 35 points for Clearwater. Carli Carlson had 10 assists and Allison Clevenger had 10 points in the win.
