Tripp Stillwell’s passion for the outdoors started early, shaped by time spent in the field with his father and strengthened through years of hunting whenever he has the chance.
“My interest in the outdoors started when I was really young,” Stillwell said. “My dad would always take me deer hunting, and my love for it really began when I shot my first deer.”
That early experience sparked a lasting interest that has carried into his high school years. When he is not playing football or baseball, Stillwell said much of his free time is spent outdoors pursuing hunting opportunities.
“After that, I started duck hunting and deer hunting whenever I had free time,” he said. “When I’m not playing football or baseball, I spend nearly all my spare time hunting.”
Stillwell now hunts both with friends and family, splitting time between waterfowl outings and deer hunting trips with his father.
“I hunt ducks and geese with my friends, and I hunt deer with my dad,” he said.
One of his most memorable experiences came out west, where he reached a major milestone in the field.
“My greatest accomplishment so far is harvesting an elk in Utah,” Stillwell said. “It was an amazing experience, and I was able to do it thanks to my dad.”
