Campus’ Jada Arneson – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Rachel Janes Shelter Insurance

Jada Arneson enters the season looking to continue improving as a runner while helping build a stronger girls team at Campus High School.

After putting in work during the summer, Arneson is focused on lowering her personal record and making history for the Colts.

“I’m excited about growing more with the team and beating my PR from last year,” Arneson said.

Arneson spent the summer participating in conditioning and summer running sessions to prepare for the season. She also took on a leadership role, helping teammates when they needed assistance.

“I went to summer running and was a helper when people need me,” Arneson said.

Her individual goals are ambitious. Arneson wants to lower her personal record and become the first athlete in Campus history to accomplish the feat she is pursuing.

“I want to beat my PR and be the first in Campus history,” Arneson said.

Arneson already has established herself as one of Campus’ top runners. She recently set a personal record of 20:58 and is a two-time state qualifier.

While Arneson has individual goals, she also wants to help the team grow. One of her goals is to bring more girls into the program and build a larger, more competitive team.

“My team goal is getting more girls to run and having a big team,” Arneson said.
