Garden Plain 49, Wellington 48 — Garden Plain freshman Cooper Eck hit the game-winning three-pointer in the final seconds to get the win. He hit three second-half threes and Kaeden Kasselman had a team-high 18 points. Carter Burnett led Wellington with 27.
McPherson 69, Dodge City 56 — McPherson’s Gabe Pyle scored 27 points on 10-of-21 shooting and Jett Pyle scored 20 points and had four steals. Ian Razak and Brody Seidel had six rebounds apiece as both Pyles added five rebounds apiece.
Girls
McPherson 60, Dodge City 41 — Brooke Doile scored 17 points and had seven steals, Piper Alvord had 15 points in McPherson’s win. Elley Paulsey added seven rebounds. Addisyn Taylor had 17 points, six steals and Piper Mellinger had eight rebounds.
Wellington 55, Garden Plain 21 — Britt Zeka led Wellington with 12 points, and Dru Zeka and Val Norwood had 10 apiece.
