As the season approaches, McPherson returner Kenzie French is putting in the work to make this year her best yet.
“I’m preparing for the season by practicing as much as I can,” French said. “My weakness I want to improve is my walk up throw.”
With a full season ahead, French is keeping her goals short and simple as she continues to grow as a bowler.
“The goal that I am focused on this season is to get better at bowling overall,” French said.
More than anything, French is ready to compete and see what this year’s group can accomplish together.
“I’m most excited for all the games and to see how our bowling team does this season,” French said.
A big rival matchup is keeping French fired up and eager to pull out a big win.
“I’m excited for all the games we’re going to play, and our rival team is Buhler, so I’m excited to play them,” French said.
An exciting experience still stands out as one of the biggest highlights of French’s career.
“My most memorable moment is when our team made it to state last year,” French said.
