Hellas Construction recently completed an extensive project—an indoor multipurpose facility—for the Refinery Project in Garden City.
“On this project they designed the turf to have two baseball infields along with two softball infields,” said Michael Selzer, president of Dick Construction. “It also has an 80-yard football field and a soccer field. They also installed our five indoor pickleball courts.”
Not only did Hellas complete the indoor facility, but additional upgrades are also coming to Garden City.
“They are currently doing the turf for our four baseball fields and four softball fields,” Selzer said.
Everything about Hellas left Selzer impressed. From the product to the workmanship, he said the experience was top-notch.
“Hellas has the knowledge and a long history of amazing turf,” Selzer said. “Their team was great to work with and made the whole process easy and their installers are true craftsmen. Hellas made the process easy from start to finish from Michelle selling the project to John with the project management to the field crews doing the install. As a contractor you can’t ask for a better partner.”
Selzer said he had no hesitation recommending Hellas to any company or school needing turf renovations.
“I would show them our project and give them Michelle Kuhns’ phone number,” said Selzer. “Their work sells itself.”
