Hutchinson Community College baseball player Brayden Henry has settled into life as a Blue Dragon, and everything has been just as he hoped.
“So far, my experience at Hutch has been very good,” Henry said. “I have established good relationships with all of my teammates and coaches. Our season is also off to a great start so far, as we are 10-1.”
There were two significant reasons Henry wanted to attend Hutch CC.
“For me, getting recruited to HCC was very appealing because it was close to home, and our baseball team is very good,” Henry said. “Hutch was also my only offer coming out of senior year. One thing that stands out about Hutch CC is that almost all of the sports programs here are super successful.”
Henry said Hutch CC offers the complete package, and any student considering becoming a Blue Dragon should not hesitate.
“I would tell them to come here because the school has a good academic side of things, and we are also good at sports,” Henry said. “Also, Hutch has a lot more things to do that will kill free time since it is a bigger town than most other junior colleges.”
