UPDATE: After close contact tracing, the Derby football team’s quarantine numbers are significantly lower and the Panthers will play Salina South Friday night.
According to a report from its school newspaper, the Derby football team will be entering a mandatory quarantine for two weeks.
Two individuals closely associated with the team tested positive for COVID-19 and the Panthers will miss their next two games, including their home opener Friday against Salina South.
