Andover Central’s Carter Inslee is looking forward to his time at the varsity level. Inslee didn’t play much varsity last year, so he is excited to show what he is capable of.
“I am super excited to show my teammates what we are capable of doing and showing how our effort and attitude will build us up as a young team,” Inslee said. “There are many restraints people feel we have, but as time goes on we will work the kinks out and make sure we are winning basketball games. I am excited to show leadership and manage the basketball court with the help of my coaches and teammates.”
In order to be a valuable asset to the Jaguars, Inslee put in the work over the offseason.
“I have been training in the offseason with my trainer Adrian Maloney,” Inslee said. “He has kept it super real with me for what I need to work on and making sure I am getting better every day. I had training four times a week and attended a few camps as well.”
Inslee feels like he will have a specific role for his team and it is one that he is embracing.
“I would like to be the energy guy on the court because that is key in being able to win games,” Inslee said. “Lastly, I want to show my teammates how much of a family we really are no matter what is happening.”
