Tyler Ostmeyer – Decatur Community

Decatur Community’s interior identity starts with 6-foot-5 senior center Tyler Ostmeyer. In a program looking to take the next step after a 10–11 campaign, he supplies consistent scoring and rebounding in the paint.
Head coach Kyle Breth described Ostmeyer as “our best player,” “a force on both offense and defense,” and “our leader,” noting that he “dominates both on the glass” and is “a presence inside,” while expressing excitement to see “where this team can go with Tyler leading the way.”Statistically, he backed that up with 17 points and 13 rebounds per game, anchoring both ends of the floor.
With multiple double-figure scorers around him, Ostmeyer’s ability to control the boards, score over or through contact, and set a physical tone gives Decatur Community a true centerpiece to build around in 2025–26.
