Trey Williams, a junior at Ell-Saline High School, is making waves in both basketball and athletics. As a small forward for the Ell-Saline basketball team, Williams has a clear vision for his future. His personal goal is to be the most efficient player on his team, excelling in both points and rebounds. As a committed player, he’s also focused on helping his team achieve a bigger goal—winning a state title.

One game that stands out to Trey is his first varsity game last year, where he scored an impressive 22 points in the first half. It was a moment that solidified his passion for the game and his readiness for the challenge of varsity competition.

Looking ahead, Williams is particularly excited for the senior night game against Sterling, a long-standing rival for Ell-Saline. The rivalry adds extra motivation for Williams and his team, who are focused on finishing strong and bringing home the win.

In the offseason, Williams dedicates himself to his craft through weight training, plyometric exercises, and playing summer and spring ball. His hard work off the court is just as impressive as his game day dedication to the sport. Williams is showing much determination to finish a successful high school basketball career. He has plans to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level, although he’s still deciding what career path he’d like to pursue after college.

Beyond basketball, Williams is also a standout athlete in football and track. He’s a member of the National Honor Society, balancing athletics with academic excellence.
