After a strong season in 2024-2025, Tegan Link of Lyons is prepared to take his game to the next level this season.
“Coming off a solid season from last year, I’m getting in better shape and working on my jump shot to expand my range,” Link said.
While individual stats are important, Link’s main focus is on improving the team’s performance, especially after the regular season.
“I’m wanting to have at least 15 to 20 points per game, but I’m more focused on getting my team more involved and more focused on games in the postseason,” Link said.
With work, training, and conditioning outside of the winter season, Link is ready to see how he and the Lions have grown over time.
“I’m excited to see how much progress I can make from my sophomore year to this year, and I’m excited to see where this season takes us,” Link said.
A tough home opener will be one everyone is watching, and Link is prepared to do whatever it takes to take the win.
“I’m very excited to play Ellsworth, who is our game opener,” Link said. “It’ll be a tough game, but I think we can pull the win out.”
