After losing all of its varsity team from the 2025 season, the Mill Valley girls golf team is looking to rebuild this season.
The Jaguars won their regional at Falcon Ridge golf course, while also placing in the top three in four other tournaments.
Mill Valley’s top returning golfers this season will be senior Taylor Rude, who averaged a 96.7 last season and junior Rigley Reese, who averaged 94.5
Head coach Chris Wallace understands this season will be a rebuilding season, but also expects to be in the mix in many of the tournaments the Jaguars compete in.
After a fourth place finish at state and a sub-state win, the Mill Valley varsity team will be looking to restock after graduating 11 seniors from the program, including four varsity golfers,” Wallace said. “The goal is to continue to be a competitive program and look to qualify as a team again for the 6A state tournament this fall.”
