Olathe East enters the 2026 boys soccer season looking to build on a successful 2025 campaign that ended with a 15-4 record. The Hawks will have to replace 15 players from last season’s team, creating opportunities for a new group of players to step into larger roles.
“We graduated 15 players from last year’s team,” coach Keeley O’Grady said. “We started last season off on an 11-game win streak.”
One of the key returners is senior Ben Pronske, who will provide experience and scoring ability for the Hawks. Pronske has been a four-year varsity player and was part of Olathe East’s 2023 state championship team. He led the Hawks with 12 goals last season.
Pronske also earned first-team All-State and first-team All-Sunflower League honors in 2025 after receiving honorable mention All-State and second-team All-Sunflower League recognition in 2024.
With a proven scorer returning and several new players expected to take on important roles, Olathe East will look to maintain the momentum it established during last season’s 11-game winning streak while developing a young roster.
