The Olathe East volleyball team is looking to build momentum as the Hawks work their way through another competitive season in the Sunflower League.
The schedule provides Olathe East with plenty of opportunities to test itself. The Hawks are scheduled to face Olathe Northwest, Shawnee Mission South, Mill Valley and Lawrence Free State later in the regular season, along with other Sunflower League opponents.
There are plenty of new faces for the Hawks, but one of the returning players is honorable mention all-league selection Elliot Sokoloski.
As the season progresses, Olathe East will look to use its early-season experience to continue developing as a team. With a demanding schedule ahead, each match will provide another opportunity for the Hawks to improve and gain confidence heading toward the postseason.
For Olathe East, the goal is simple: continue improving, compete with the league’s best and put itself in position to make a postseason run.
