As her senior basketball season begins, Kadence Ball, a dedicated guard for Parsons High School, is embracing both leadership and opportunity. Stepping into her final season, Ball’s focus goes beyond the stat sheet; she’s committed to creating a positive atmosphere for her teammates and helping build a stronger foundation for the program.
For Ball, this year is about growth. Her team’s goal is to strive to be better every day and improve on last season’s record. She believes that consistent effort and a unified mindset can elevate the team to new heights.
One of the things Ball looks forward to most is the daily challenge of getting better. She takes pride in the work her team puts in and is excited to watch it all come together throughout the season. A highlight on her schedule is the upcoming matchup against Altamont, a game known for its intense energy and overwhelming community support. The electric atmosphere fuels the team’s competitive spirit.
Throughout the offseason, Ball dedicated herself to becoming an overall more consistent player, sharpening her skills and strengthening her confidence.
Ball’s work ethic extends far beyond basketball. A standout athlete, Ball also excelled in tennis, becoming a three-time state qualifier, three-time All-SEK League selection, and a state medalist, achievements that showcase her discipline and drive.
Looking ahead, Ball plans to attend Pitt State, where she hopes to study Therapeutic Recreation or Exercise Science on her path to becoming an Occupational Therapist. With her leadership, talent, and positivity, Kadence Ball is poised to make her senior season one to remember.
