VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Rock Hills? I love the support from the teachers and the dual credit and other college courses that are offered to help get a jump start towards college.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject and who is your favorite teacher? My favorite subject is the wood shop where my teacher is Mr. Ost.
VYPE: What grade are you in and how long have you been in golf? I am a junior in high school and I have been playing golf for Rock Hills since my freshman year.
VYPE: What area of your game have you worked on the most to improve? The area of improvement I have worked on the most this year has been short chips and putting.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates? What I love most about my teammates is how fun they make practice and want to be there to compete with me to make for an enjoyable experience.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite course to play? Why? Colbert Hills in Manhattan Kansas was my most favorite to play due to the level of challenge it presented.
VYPE: What is your favorite club in your bag? Why? My favorite club in my bag has got to be my 7 iron because while I use it for normal hits it also works perfect for chipping on sand greens rather than wedges
VYPE: What is the lowest round you’ve ever shot, in competition or for fun? Explain. I don’t recall my personal lowest round, but my coach and I played a summer tournament where we shot 8 under through 18 to take second.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time? My free time is filled by hanging out with friends and in the summer going to the golf course or waterskiing at the lake.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate? After graduation I plan on attending Kansas state university to major in mechanical engineering.
