Seaman High School senior Maddie Gragg has made her mark as a versatile and determined athlete. Known primarily as a shooting guard, Gragg’s ability to adapt and play multiple positions has made her an invaluable part of Seaman’s basketball team. As she enters her final season, she’s focused on a major goal of breaking a school record, something she’s very close to achieving.
Gragg wants to reach the goal of scoring 1,000 career points this season, and achieving this impressive milestone is well within reach. In addition to hitting the 1,000-point mark, she is excited to celebrate Senior Night surrounded by teammates, coaches, and family who have supported her journey.
This season brings new challenges as Gragg works with a starting lineup she hasn’t played alongside before. “Learning to work together as a team” is something Gragg shared the team is going to have to accomplish this season.
When she’s not on the court, Gragg’s schedule remains full. She balances club basketball, tennis, swimming, and a job, all while maintaining excellence in the classroom. Her dedication has earned her several impressive honors, including 2024 State Champion, UKC Newcomer of the Year, All-State honors, and First Team UKC three times.
Beyond athletics, Gragg leads through involvement in Key Club as President, National Honor Society, Fellow Christian Students, FBLA, and the School Bank. Looking ahead, she plans to major in business after graduation.
With her drive, leadership, and passion, Maddie Gragg is leaving behind a legacy at Seaman High School, one defined by hard work, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the court.
