As the track season quickly approaches, SecretDye is eager to see how her hard work will pay off on the track.
Dye took second in the 100 meter hurdles at the City League track meet and then took second in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles at the Wichita Northwest regional.
She capped her year by taking fourth in both events at the 6A Tournament.
Dye thinks those results are just the appetizer for what will be the main course in 2026.
“I’m really excited for this season because I know how much work I’ve put in and how much I still want to accomplish,” Dye said.
With a busy spring schedule, Dye will hold lots of opportunities to push herself to be the best she can be.
“My goal is to keep improving every meet, pushing my limits, and competing at the highest level possible,” Dye said.
Her focus this year is on competing at the state championship and giving her best effort in every event.
“I’m focused on making it to the state championship and giving it everything I have, and hopefully finishing the season by bringing home a gold medal,” Dye said.
