Marion’s Braedon Mercer – Spotlight Presented By Salina Regional Sports Medicine
- Updated: September 17, 2020
Three-sport athlete and senior Braedon Mercer has big plans for his future, but before he can start that journey, Mercer is looking forward to competing with his teammates once again for Marion High School.
“I love my team because of the bond we’ve made. We have played together for many years and have all become so close. It is easy to play with each other when we all have the trust for each and every player as our team does,” said Mercer.
This season Mercer has set a goal for himself to become a better athlete and leader.
“Physical goals do not matter to me as much as being a role model to the younger teammates who have more years to improve. My goal is to be the best player that I can be but also be the best teammate,” said Mercer.
After graduating next spring, Mercer plans to attend Wichita State University where he wants to pursue a degree in Athletic Training and eventually become a physical therapist or chiropractor.
