Trenton Clark’s focus this season wasn’t just about putting up numbers. For the Kingman standout, it was about consistency, leadership and helping his team stay on a winning track.
“My primary focus for this season is to get better and keep my team on a winning streak,” Clark said. “Some things I want to accomplish this season is to make sure we have a good positive attitude and stay competitive.”
That mindset showed up both on and off the field as Clark worked to set the tone for his teammates.
“My strengths are staying competitive,” he said. “I utilize this for my team by keeping a positive attitude during the whole season.”
Clark also emphasized growth as a key goal throughout the year, both individually and as part of the program’s culture.
“Some things I wanted to work on this season is getting better and having more pride in the sport,” he said.
During the offseason, Clark stayed committed to improving his game and helping his team build momentum before the season even began.
“Things I did in the offseason is lifting, staying focused on the sport, and keeping my team focused on the sports too,” he said.
For Clark, success isn’t only measured in stats — it’s measured in how the team performs together.
“A successful season to me is a winning streak and staying positive even if we’re down,” he said.
Still, Clark’s impact on the field was significant. He recorded 21 catches for 384 receiving yards and six touchdowns, averaging 42.7 yards per game. He also added 819 kickoff return yards on 25 attempts and 105 return yards on seven returns. On defense, he totaled 24 tackles, along with an interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup. His efforts earned him second-team CPL receiver honors.
Compared to last season, his production grew significantly after finishing with just four catches for 69 yards in a single game.
For Clark, though, the focus remains forward — building on progress and continuing to compete at a high level for Kingman.
