Chapman’s Taylor Briggs – Hog Wild Athlete of the Month

Taylor Briggs, a junior at Chapman, was one of the top runners at the Rim Rock Farm HS XC Classic on Sept. 28 at Rim Rock Farm, just north of Lawrence. On one of the most challenging courses in the nation, Taylor finished fifth overall, finishing the 5,000-meter run in 18 minutes, 55.9 seconds. The race featured not only some of the top runners in Kansas, but also schools from Oklahoma, Colorado, Arkansas and Iowa.
