Boys

Abilene 74, Concordia 37 — Abilene was led by Bryson’s 17 points and Becker’s 12.Rosenbaum led Concordia with 11.

Andover 67, Goddard 29 — Jack Johnson had 18 points in the win, with Harper Jonas at 17 and Kaleb Gaddis with 10. Johnson hit four threes.

Augusta 62, Buhler 61 — Augusta’s Jaren Jackson had 36 points in the win.

Derby 83, Newton 57 — Derby improves to 5-0 with the win at home. Newton led 20-10 with 1:45 to go in the first quarter, but Derby went on a 19-4 run to take a 29-24 lead three minutes into the second quarter.

Newton went up 30-29 three minutes later, but Derby scored the next eight points and never trailed again.

Newton got within 41-38 early in the third, but Tre Washington and Lem Wash scored the next 10 points and Newton never got within 10 points again.

Nick Bonner had 17 points, 10 in the third quarter when Derby outscored Newton 24-10. Jacob Karsak had 15 points, 13 in the first half, while Washington had 11 points and five rebounds. Blake Chadwick had four steals, and Kole Barger had seven rebounds.

Jaxon Brackeen led Newton with 17 points, nine in the first period. Alex Krogmeier had 13.

Goessel 57, Peabody-Burns 22 — Lightner ledGoessel 16 points and Hagewood had 16. Parks scored a team-high 10 points for Peabody-Burns.

McPherson 66, Winfield 30 — Seth Madron led all scorers with 16 points in McPherson’s win. Hayes Schmid added 13 and Cody Stufflebean had 11.

Mulvane 58, Wellington 51 — Trey Abasolo had 23 points and 18 rebounds to lead Mulvane to the win. Mike Manis added 16 points.

Wichita Collegiate 60, Andale 50 — Collegiate’s Gradey Dick scored 35 points in the win, while Easton Hunter led Andale with 18 points.

Circle 54, El Dorado 32 — Kimalee Cook had 22 points, Mallory Cowman had 11 and Chase had 10. El Dorado was led by Lattey’s 12 and Motter’s 10.

Derby 73, Newton 11 —  Derby is 4-1.

Goessel 54, Peabody-Burns 37 — Goessel’s Schmucker had 20 points and Alderfer had 12. Eldridge had 24 for Peabody-Burns.

Halstead 45, Smoky Valley 24 — Halstead was led by Gerber’s 16 points and O’Brien’s 14 in the win.

Maize South 66, Arkansas City 25 —  Maize South’s Katie Wagner with 31 in the victory.

McPherson 69, Winfield 22– Cassie Cooks had a game-high 22 points for McPherson, while Kassidy Beam had 21. McPherson is 5-0.

Nickerson 58, Pratt 20 — McLean lead Nickerson in the win with 18 points, while Ontjes and Hada each had 10.

Salina Central 48, Salina South 33 —  Aubrie Kierscht had 20 for Salina Central in the win and is 4-0.

Wellington 51, Mulvane 25 — Wellington got the win over Mulvane with Rye French leading the way with 15 points.
