Hi, what are you looking for?

VYPE

Optimist Sponsored Teams & Community Volunteers

The Optimist Concession Stand is in need of additional help this weekend of July 13-14, 2019.

We would like your help if at all possible.  We also know that your team might be playing this weekend and can’t commit to the concession; however, if you know of someone or a team not playing that would like to help, please share this request.

Working the concession this year has been very rewarding for many. Not only are great things happening with the proceeds, but youth and parents are working, providing a service, learning valuable math and customer skills, making people happy AND having FUN doing it!

It is important to note that the ability to have weekend volunteers work the remainder of the 2019 season will determine whether the Optimist can again offer the concession program and provide sponsorship for teams next year in 2020.  Assuming 2020 is a go, Optimists will first consider the teams that provide any additional help in 2019 as teams to sponsor next year.   We will also have some teams aging out, so if you know of an 8U team or a new team forming, this weekend might be the perfect opportunity for them to get a chance to work next year.

Below are the shifts/times where help is needed July 13-14. It would be great to have players and parents and even community volunteers take shifts.

To volunteer for the shifts below, please e-mail Optimist Member, Tiffany at [email protected]  or call Tiffany direct at (785) 493-5300.
