Sterling High School wins strength and conditioning award

Sterling High School was announced as the 2020 recipient of The National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Strength of America Award.

This award recognizes Sterling to have represented the gold standard in strength and conditioning programs.

Sterling was measured in four major categories: Supervision, Education, Program and Facilities. There were hundreds of eligible schools and Sterling joins an elite group of institutions who have previously won the award.

“It’s a blessing to be part of a terrific community with student-athletes that are willing to work hard and commit to our strength and conditioning program day in and day out,” said Brent Schneider, who is Sterling’s Strength and Conditioning and football coach. “The administration, coaches, and district, as a whole, have committed to establishing an exemplary strength and conditioning program that will increase the health of our student-athletes and improve their sport performance.”
