Boys

Arkansas City 53, Clearwater 15 — Ark City was led by Trevor Pierce, who had 14 points and Colin Frazier, who finished with 10.

Augusta 65, Abilene 62 — Marcus McClanahan hit six three-pointers and finished with 18 points to lead Augusta. Kaden McDaniel had 15 points, four assists and four steals in the win.

Bishop Carroll 78, Wichita East 48 — Carroll outscored East 28-8 in the second quarter. John Hauserman scored a game-high 22 points and Mikey Brand had 19. East’s Julian King-Ingram had 18 points.

Concordia 65, Smoky Valley 59 — Concordia was led by Aceyn Cash’s 20 points, while Payton Breese had12 and Peyton Retter 11. Smoky Valley’s top three scorer were K. Pihl with 13, V. Pickering 14, G. Griffeth 11.

Derby 55, Andover Central 48 — Andover Central took its first and only lead on a three-pointer by Kobe Smith midway through the third quarter. But Derby answered with Kaeson Fisher-Brown, who scored Derby’s next nine points. Fisher-Brown had 23 points, 18 points in the second half, while Dallas Metzger had 16, hitting 3 of 4 threes. Andover Central was led by Smith’s 16 points.

Cunningham 50, Ellinwood 71

Elyria Christian 51, Little River 46 — Little River’s Lafferty scored 31 points.

Goessel 50, Hutchinson Central Christian 39 — Goessel’s C. Burkholder had 16 points.

Hesston 50, Nickerson 18

Hillsboro 74, Lyons 54 — Brekyn Ratzlaff scored 40 points, 23 in the second half, to lead Hillsboro in the win.

Hutchinson 69, Buhler 35

Kapaun 52, South 51 — With one second remaining Kapaun’s Teagan Charles hit a free throw to give the Crusaders a win.

Maize 46, Eisenhower 45 — Maize freshman Brayden Myovela scored the game-winning basket with 3.9 seconds remaining on a drive to the basket and also led the Eagles with 14 points. Cason Roy and Jaden Roth each scored 16 points to lead Eisenhower.

McPherson 71, Andover 64 — McPherson’s Cory Muehler had 19 points, hitting3 of 7 threes and had five rebounds. Mason Miller had 16 points, and Kyden Thompson had 14 points, six rebounds. Muehler and Thompson had four assists apiece. Andover’s Eli Shetlar hit three three-pointers and had a team-high 17 points, BJ Redic scored 14 and Josh Kim 13. Redic added nine rebounds and Kim and Shetlar each had six.

Rose Hill 52, Garden Plain 37

SE-Saline 68, Beloit 46

Valley Center 50, Andale 46 — Valley Center, which trailed 22-21 at the half, was led by Sam Kemp’s 22 points and Eli Lefto’s 14.

West Elk 59, Hartford 30 — Uriah Tillapauh scored 21 and had 13 rebounds for West Elk. Tate Stewart added 17 points.

Wichita Northwest 71, Wichita North 52 — Tasean Williams led Northwest with 20 points and Javonne Glover had 15. North was led by Joshua McCoy, who had 17 points, and Jacob Wassall’s 13.

Andale 45, Valley Center 17

Augusta 38, Abilene 25

Bishop Carroll 56, Wichita East 32 — East took an 8-4 lead after the first quarter, but Bishop Carroll went on a 21-3 run for a 25-13 halftime lead en route to the win. Carroll was led by Landon Forbes’ 17 points, Leah Henke’s 14 and Ellie McKellips’ 12. Nyah Chandler scored 14 for East.

Bluestem 43, Cherryvale 28

Clearwater 61, Arkansas City 37 — Elizabeth Tjaden scored 21 points and had seven assists while Carli Carlson had 20 points, five steals for Clearwater.

Cunningham 63, Stafford 0

Derby 55, Andover Central 45 — After going into halftime trailing 30-22, Andover Central got within 30-29 on seven unanswered points from Hayden Snodgrass. But Derby went on a 20-5 run, getting three-pointers from Madison Smith and Destiny Smith, along with six points from Addy Brown. Derby was led by Brown’s 19 points and Destiny Smith’s 14. Snodgrass scored a game-high 21 points.

Garden Plain 51, Rose Hill 23 — Madelyn Rolfs scored 16 points and Celia Puetz had 10, while each also added seven rebounds.Ryleigh Stuhlsatz had four steals. Rose Hill’s Lee scored a team-high 11 points and had seven rebounds.

Hesston 58, Nickerson 39

Hillsboro 51, Lyons 27 — Savannah Shahan scored 28 points to lead Hillsboro.

Hutchinson 62, Buhler 44

Hutchinson Central Christian 47, Goessel 28

Inman 58, Moundridge 36 — Suttyn Harris led Inman with 21 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, five steals and three blocks. Teammate Kenna Woods had 11 points and three steals, while Madelyn Brunk had five rebounds, five assists.

Little River 64, Elyria Christian 39 — Both A. Eck and A. Olander scored 17 for Little River, and K. Ellwood had 11. Elyria Christian’s Ry. Hawkinson had 11 points.

McPherson 65, Andover 41 — McPherson’s Karter Alvord and Chloe Clevenger each had 15 points. Jordan Sears scored 10 and had 10 rebounds, and Jayla McLeod had 10 rebounds. Madi Moors added five assists. Alana Shetlar scored 11 to lead Andover.

Wichita Northwest 55, Wichita North 28 — Kamyra Barber and N’ascent Robinson each had 19 points for Northwest.

Wichita South 55, Kapaun 36 — Mahogany Butler scored 19, Zion Butler 16 and RaMya Kennedy 13 in the win for South. Kapaun was led by Sophia Gimino’s 10 points.
