Boys

Andale 45, Wellignton 37

Andover 80, Buhler 56 — Andover outscored Buhler 47-13 in the second half. Buhler’s Max Alexander scored 35 points in the first half, but Andover senior Isaiah Maikori held him to two in the second. Andover was led by Jack Johnson’s 24 points, while BJ Redic scored 18 points and Brady Strausz 10. Jack Voth had 11 for Buhler.

Andover Central 61, Hutchinson 27

Arkansas City 65, Chaparral 48 — Arkansas City was led by Brock Merz, who had 27 points and 10 rebounds, and Trevor Pierce, who had 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Augusta 66, KC Ward 40 — Brendan Parker had a game-high 15 points and Eli Wilcox had 14 in the Augusta win. Ten of 12 Augusta players scored.

Campus 87, Life Prep 46 — Stevie Strong had 40 points and hit eight three-pointers. Jaydon Hall had 15 points and Sterling Chapman 16 rebounds.

Cheney 65, Minneapolis 26

Haven 55, Rose Hill 42

Hesston 66, Eureka 28 — Hesston outscored Eureka 23-5 in the third quarter to build on its 10-point halftime lead. Cason Richardson had 28 points to lead Hesston.

Hugoton 73, Hutchinson Trinity 60 — Lucas Hammeke led Trinity with 22 points and six assists. Evan Remar added 16 points and Landon Gray had seven rebounds. Hugoton was led by Sawyer Harper (24 points), Jayce Korf (16) and Kyle Riddlesperger (16).

Hutchinson Central Christian 44, Pretty Prairie 35

Maize 53, Heights 47 — Maize’s Kyle Grill scored a game-high 14 points, Winston Bing added 11 and AveryJohnson had 10. Heights was led by TJ Williams, who had 19 points and made 7 of 10 shots with six rebounds. Marcus Ziegler had 13 points.

Moundridge 56, Goessel 23 — Erin Durst led Moundridge with 19 points and Katie Eichelberger had 10.

Mulvane 75, Circle 55 — Trey Abasolo led Mulvane with 20 points, Mason Ellis added 14, Ian Comer 13 and Kaiden Abasolo 11. Drew Middleton had 22 for Circle and Luke McGinnis added 12.

Northwest 84, North 35 — David Duncan led Northwest with 13 points. Todric McGee, Tasean Williams, Braydon Verbeck and Kevin Brown each had 10 points. Taye Lawrie scored a game-high 18 for North.

Republic County 52, Remington 46 2OT

Salina Central 47, Wichita South 43 — Salina Central was led by Reed McHenry’s 20 points and Caden Kickhaefer’s 12. Ashtin Standifer led South with 15 and Abel Jones had 13.

Topeka Seaman 65, Valley Center 51 — Valley Center was led by Kaleb Harden (15 points), Eli Isaacs (14) and Gabe Phillips (14).

Girls

Andale 45, Wellington 37 — Andale was led by Katelyn Fairchild and Mckenzie Fairchild, who both had 12 points. Rylee Rusk led Wellington with 13 and Airalyn Frame had 10.

Bishop Carroll 48, North 43 — Khloe Schuckman scored 19 points in Carroll’s win. North’s AmUnique Cavitt scored 19 points to lead North, and Noel Brown had 15.

Bluestem 35, Bennington 32

Buhler 35, Abilene 30 — Nine of 10 Buhler players scored at least three points, three had five and Horning had a team-high eight points.  Abilene was led by Hayes, who had 12.

Clearwater 49, Winfield 39 — Elizabeth Tjaden scored 13 to lead Clearwater, and teammates Carli Carlson had 12 points, Brooke Berlin 10.

Collegiate 56, Augusta 41 — Collegiate was led by Maddy Mairs (18 points), Makayla McClellan (15) and Ellie Munds (13).

Derby 36, Maize 24 — Derby avenges its lone loss — and hands Maize its first loss. Derby was led by Addy Brown, who had 11 points. Five players scored for Derby, and each scored at least five points. Sydney Holmes led Maize with 13 points.

Eureka 47, Hesston 33 — Eureka’s Ch. Ptacek had 21, hitting five three-pointers. Teammate A. Singhaleh had 12. Caryn Yoder scored 12 for Hesston.

Garden Plain 60, Ell-Saline 31 — Seven of Garden Plain’s players scored at least five points, with Madysen Zoglman leading the way with a game-high 16. Brooke Hammond added 12. Alli Puetz had 12 rebounds and Hammond and Madelyn Rolfs each had five steals. Ell-Saline’s Rowley scored 13 points.

Hillsboro 32, Riley County 22

Liberal 43, Salina South 19

Maize South 56, Newton 20

Salina Central 48, Andover 34 — Mykayla Cunningham and Aubrie Kierscht each had 14 points for Salina Central.

Smoky Valley 32, Scott City 31 — Smoky Valley’s Ellie Brumbaugh scored her team-high 11 points in the first half. Smoky Valley’s Adrian Hazelwood hit 2 of 4 free throws to help seal the win as the Vikings held Scott City to two fourth-quarter points.
