KTA Work Zone Awareness Week design contest reaches final stages

We have reached the final weeks of the seventh annual Work Zone Awareness Week design contest for Kansas teens in grades 8-12.

This contest is a fun, interactive way for educators to incorporate instruction on art, design, and creative software into their class, whether in-person or virtual.

National Work Zone Awareness Week, held each April, promotes safety while traveling through work zones. Teens are in their formative driving years and these contests help us reach them to encourage safe driving practices.

Visit our website (https://www.ksturnpike.com/contests) for the information you need to know to enter our design contest. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on Sunday, March 27. The winning teen will receive a $200 gift card and have their work published in VYPE Magazine, the high school sports magazine for south and north central Kansas including Wichita and Salina surrounding areas.
