“Tough kids that have bought into our way of doing things and as a result we have been on a 50-game winning streak. Our commitment level continues to increase every year.”
Who have been key players for you this season?
“All 84 players on our team have been key. Our numbers allow us to practice and play the way we want to, which means getting everyone involved and every kid finding a role in the team.”
Have any players been a surprise?
“No real surprises this year, except for the fact that we have been able to keep our kids healthy for the most part all year which has allowed us to make it to this point again.”
What got your team into the state championship game and what do they need to do to win the state championship?
“Winning the turnover margin, winning the field position battle on specials, running the football, and playing great defense.”

“Our biggest challenge was to develop leadership and a team mentality. This group has learned to pull together under pressure. It has been both challenging an enjoyable to see their growth. We returned our entire set of skill positions. However, the key to our success has been the growth of the juniors and seniors on our offensive and defensive lines.“

“The most pleasant surprise has been the emergence of our junior linemen, Barnett, Hundley and Rousch.”
What got your team into the state championship game?
“A core commitment to improving each and every week and the emergence of leadership.”
What does your team need to do in order to win the state championship game?
“We will need to play error-free football on offense and tackle well on the line of scrimmage.”
