Fredonia High School senior Behr Coulter is entering his final basketball season with clear goals, strong leadership, and confidence built from years of hard work. A versatile shooting guard and small forward, Coulter is determined to help elevate the team to the top of their league and close out his high school career with a statement season.

Coulter’s top priority this year is ambitious. He wants to finish first in league play. He’s looking forward to facing the tougher teams on the schedule. One of his primary competitive goals is to win the Uniontown Tournament for the second consecutive year, which he views as both a challenge and a significant motivator.

This past offseason, Coulter stayed active and committed, playing on a summer team with several teammates and participating in team workouts. That preparation will be crucial as Fredonia builds on last year’s success.

One of the moments he’s most proud of came last season, when the Yellowjackets battled their way in the sub-state tournament and earned a spot in the sub-state championship for the first time since 2016. That performance has fueled even higher expectations for this season.

Off the court, Coulter is a three-sport athlete, also competing in football and baseball. He’s equally accomplished in the classroom and within school activities, spending all four years as a member of FCCLA and qualifying for nationals every year, an achievement he holds with pride.

After graduation, Coulter plans to attend Kansas State University, carrying with him the work ethic, competitiveness, and leadership that have defined his high school career. With high aspirations and a seasoned team beside him, Coulter is ready to make his senior season one to remember.
