Jada Arneson, a junior at Campus High School, is a dedicated cross country runner with big goals and a bigger heart. As she continues to push her limits on the course, Arneson is striving to break her personal record of 21:34 in the 5K. This is a goal that fuels her training and motivates her every race.
This season, Arneson has been focused not only on beating her time but also getting closer with her team. For her, cross country isn’t just about individual performance; it’s about team spirit, shared challenges, and collective success. With regionals approaching, she’s focused on running her best races and getting back to top speed. “I was so close to my PR, and I want to get back up to that,” she said.
Arneson is also already preparing for the upcoming track season, using cross country as a foundation to stay in shape and sharpen her endurance. Her training includes track-style workouts that build both speed and strength, showing her commitment to year-round improvement.
Looking ahead, Arneson hopes to continue her running journey at the collegiate level while pursuing a career in parks and recreation, which shows a reflection of her passion for her community. She’s also involved in MYLC, where she works to help make positive changes in her city.
Though she’s humble about her achievements, Arneson’s drive, dedication, and community mindset make her a standout on and off the course. Whether she’s chasing a new personal record or lending her voice for local improvement efforts, she’s focused on growth in every direction, for herself, her team, and her town.
