Tonight’s Wichita-area high school football playoff scores

Andale 74, Clay Center 0 — Andale scored 60 points in the first half en route to its playoff victory. Cooper Marx had five carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns, Landon Harp had three rushing touchdowns and Toben Easter two. Sam Harp also had a rushing touchdown and a punt return for a touchdown.

Andover Central 35, Winfield 7 — Andover Central (9-1) opened the season with four straight wins and has now won five straight.

Buhler 62, Mulvane 21 — Buhler improved to 8-2, beating Mulvane (7-3) for the second time. Buhler beat Mulvane 28-7 in the season opener.

Eisenhower 37, Maize South 26 — After a two-game losing streak, Eisenhower has won two straight to improve to 8-2.

Hutchinson 33, Liberal 13 — Hutch, which has five shutouts, improved to 8-2.

Hutchinson Central Christian 48, Logan Palco 6

Wellington 20, Kapaun 19 — Kapaun’s season ends at 7-3 in the second round of the Class 4A playoffs. Wellington opened the season with a 22-19 loss to Collegiate and a 56-48 loss to Andale but has now won eight straight.

Wichita East 21, Dodge City 17 — Wichita East trailed 14-0 after the first quarter and was forced to punt down 17-14 with 2:31 remaining. But in the final 10 seconds, East scored on a 38-yard pass to win 21-17. East is 7-3.

Wichita Northwest 62, Wichita South 28 — Northwest improves to 9-1 after scoring 62 points on South for the second time this season.
