First City League girls wrestling championships tonight

By Joanna Chadwick

The inaugural City League girls wrestling championships are at 4 p.m. tonight at Heights.

There will be 43 girls wrestlers from seven City League schools.

Girls wrestling was added as a Kansas State High School Activities Association sport for 2019-20. While girls had wrestled in the past against boys, this is the first time there are teams for girls.
