Friday’s high school basketball games (Jan. 26)

Boys

Andover 65, Salina Central 59 — Blake Rucker scored 25 to lead Andover, and Quenci Bradford scored 15, and Hand had 11. Salina Central’s Kaden Snyder scored 15, Dez Gibson 13 and Thomas McClendon 12.

Maize 47, Hutchinson 44 — Brayden Myovela scored 12 to lead Maize. Hutchinson was led by Julian Smith’s 16 and Terrell King’s 12.

Moundridge 61, Goessel 23 — Moundridge’s Moddlemog hit four threes in the first quarter and finished with 18 points and teammate Hecox had 13 points. N. Schrag hit five threes for Goessel and had a team-high 18 points.

Wichita Collegiate 74, El Dorado 58 — Sebastian Hines-Turner scored 25 points and Carter Drumright 15 in Collegiate’s win. Logan Garner scored 31 for El Dorado.

Girls

Andover 42, Salina Central 37 — Alana Shetlar led Andover with 15 points and Brooke Walker 12 as the Trojans won. It was their first game that wasn’t a double-digit victory. Saniya Triplett and Tyler Vidricksen each scored 10 for Salina Central.

Andover Central 52, Manhattan 49 — Andover Central’s Hayden Snodgrass hit 5 of 8 from three and finished with 21 points, seven rebounds after missing Thursday’s game with the flu. Haven Deckinger had seven rebounds and four assists.

Bishop Carroll 59, Eisenhower 23 — Leah Henke scored 26 in Carroll’s win.

Chaparral 49, Wichita Defenders 26

Clearwater 48, Wichita Northwest 47 — Clearwater’s Elizabeth Tjaden had three three-pointers and scored 24 points with four steals. Teammate Madison Clevenger had eight steals. Northwest’s Aubrey Navarrette scored 20, hitting 6 of 10 from three. Sasha Reid had eight rebounds.

Conway Springs 33, Winfield 30 — Macie Hartman scored 15 points to lead Conway Springs. Winfield was led by K. McCauley’s 10 points.

Emporia 61, Derby 53 OT

Halstead 49, Circle 41

Haven 59, Garden Plain 23 — Avery Brawner scored 21 points and Sienna DeFrain 15 points with six assists in the win for Haven.

Hesston 57, Buhler 43

Hutchinson 49, Wichita Southeast 34 — Azariah Daws scored 16 points to lead Hutchinson in the win.

Kapaun 56, Gardner-Edgerton 41 — McCoy Phister scored 15, Lizzie Romer 14 and Ella Rudy 10 in Kapaun’s win.

SM South 61, McPherson 47 — Jayla McLeod scored 16 to lead McPherson, Karter Alvord had 15 and Reanna Eilrich 10.

Washburn Rural 50, Wichita Heights 43

Wichita East 56, El Dorado 19 — Heylei Davis scored 16 and Aniyah Davis 13 in East’s win.

Wichita South 58, Topeka Seaman 53 — Zion Butler scored 21 points, hitting five three-pointers, and Ramya Kennedy had 12 points.
