Ethan Benne is a senior at Pike Valley High School where he is a member of the varsity football team.
Coming into the new season, it was a question if the season would happen, but for Benne, he stayed focused on preparing himself for that first game.
“I am looking forward to what me and my teams can accomplish in all sports. Also, I am looking forward to activities like a senior trip,” said Benne.
Benne and his teammates have played together for years and that bond they share only helps them on the field.
“The best part is the chemistry we have developed over our years of playing together,” said Benne.
In the classroom Benne takes his school work just as serious as his technique on the offensive line.
“Academics are pretty important for getting into a good program at college and getting various scholarships,” said Benne. “I am
planning on studying computer engineering at Wichita State University.”
Away from the field, Benne is involved in FBLA, FFA and KAYS for all four years of high school and he has been on the Student Council
for three years. Away from school Benne has been in the 4-H club for 12 years.
