Andale 40, Garden Plain 22

Andover 55, Arkansas City 33 — Andover’s Eli Shetlar scored a game-high 16, and BJ Redic and Blake Rucker each had 10 in the victory.

Andover Central 70, Salina Central 32 — Kobe Smith scored 23 and Brian Perry 10 in the Andover Central win. D. Puckett scored 12 to lead Salina Central.

Maize 54, Salina South 45 — Alan Hanna had 16 points, Jaxson Booth 12 and Brayden Myovela 10 in Maize’s win.

Maize South 61, Derby 54 — Maize South built on its 12-point halftime lead, getting it to 45-29 at the end of the third quarter. Derby mounted a comeback, though, as Kaeson Fisher-Brown scored 17 of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter. The Panthers got within 50-44 after eight unanswered points by Fisher-Brown. But Isaiah Atwater started an 8-2 run to get back to a 12-point lead. Atwater and Jaren Askren each scored 14 and Jaylen Maze had 12. Dallas Metzger added 11 for Derby, and Kaden Franklin had five rebounds, three blocks.

Remington 56, Chaparral 39 — Remington coach Clint Kinnamon earned his 500th victory.

Abilene 37, Chapman 34

Andale 39, Garden Plain 28 — Mackenzie Fairchild scored 14 points to lead Andale, and Kuepker added 10. Molly Zoglman scored 15 points and had five rebounds for Garden Plain.

Andover 59, Arkansas City 24

Andover Central 48, Salina Central 30

Augusta 46, Collegiate 10 — Aspen Peterson, who scored a team-high nine points for Augusta, was one of eight players who scored.

Bluestem 40, Douglass 21

Derby 44, Maize South 35 — Maize South took a 25-19 lead on an Ava Howie three with 4:42 to go in the second quarter. Derby responded with a three-pointer from Madison Smith and went on a 14-2 run capped by Kallie Rickords’ basket early in the fourth. Maize South got within 38-33 on Howie’s bucket inside with 2:23 to go, but Derby hit 6 of 6 free throws in the final 1:04. Addy Brown scored 19 and had 10 rebounds, three blocked shots in Derby’s win, and Destiny Smith added four steals. Maize South’s Bella Peters hit 3 of 3 threes in the second quarter when she scored 10 of her team-high 12 points. Amani Lipscomb had 11 points, Avery Lowe 11 rebounds.
