Boys

Augusta 56, El Dorado 49 OT — Augusta outscored EL Dorado 7-0 in the overtime and Kaden McDaniel scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half.

Clay Center 52, Hillsboro 40 — Cole Pladson led Clay Center with 15 points, Mark Hoffman had six rebounds and three blocks. Hillsboro’s Nick Smith scored 11, Brekyn Ratzlaff had five assists, Tyson Plenert three steals.

Hutchinson 55, Derby 50 — Hutchinson outscored Derby 20-12 in the final period, hitting 8 of 14 free throws. Coming into the period, Hutchinson had hit all 12 free throws; Derby was 2 of 2 from the line. Dauntay King led Hutchinson with 24 points, hitting 11 of 13 from the line. Terrell King had 11 points and Nic Lange 10 points, 10 rebounds. Derby’s Dallas Metzger had 20 points, hitting 5 of 9 from three-point range, and Kaden Franklin had seven rebounds.

Kapaun 69, Wichita North 40 — Kapaun, which led 40-15 at the half, was led by William Thengvall’s 18 points, Corbin Johnson 15 and Will Anciaux 13. Jacob Wassall scored 13 to lead North.

Maize South 63, Goddard 30

McPherson 51, Andale 36

Mulvane 58, Clearwater 37 — Kaiden Abasolo scored 27 points and Aiden McKee 12 in Mulvane’s win.

Smoky Valley 50, Hutchinson Trinity 43

Wichita Heights 67, Wichita Northwest 42 — Heights was led by Marcus Zeigler’s 20 points and Jordan Alford’s 12. Amalachi Wilkins had 11 rebounds, and T.J. Williams had eight rebounds, seven assists. Tasean Williams scored 23 to lead Northwest.

Wichita Southeast 63, Bishop Carroll 62

Girls

Arkansas City 36, Winfield 30 — Johnson scored 13 to lead Arkansas City, Phillips had 12. Curtis led Winfield with 12.

Bishop Carroll 45, Wichita Southeast 42 — Leah Henke had 17 to lead Carroll, Brynn Steven 11.

Heights 56, Northwest 21 — Nine players scored for Heights, which was led by Kennadi Johnson’s 15 points.

Inman 47, Belle Plaine 34 — Suttyn Harris scored 24 for Inman and had 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals. Lawless scored 10 for Belle Plaine.

Kapaun 42, North 33 — Sophia Gimino scored 11 and Lizzie Romer 10 in Kapaun’s win.

Madison 60, Waverly 43

Norwich 54, Cunningham 12

Sedgwick 44, Wichita Defenders 25 — Sedgwick’s Fitch scored 13.

Smoky Valley 58, Hutchinson Trinity 27

Wellington 72, Campus 6 — Kylan Gregory scored 15, Ashlyn Gerten and Val Norwood each had 14 for Wellington.

Mulvane 44, Collegiate 29 — Teagan Garrison scored 18 points, Madison Shaw 11 to lead Mulvane.
