Tonight’s high school basketball sub-state finals scores, stats, recaps (March 5)

Heights 54, Junction City 39 — Heights’ Dreylin Kemp had 15 points, Chase Harris 13, Marcus Zeigler 12 and TJ Williams 12 points in the win. Harris had six rebounds, four steals, and Kemp had six rebounds, three blocks.

Hesston 49, Cheney 41 — Cason Richardson scored 13 points to lead Hesston. Jackson Voth scored 15 and Harrison Voth 10 for Cheney.

Manhattan 61, Derby 45 — Down 32-25 at the 6:10 mark of the third quarter, Manhattan went on a 15-0 run then opened the fourth with a 12-0 run for the 54-35 lead with 4:06 to go. Dallas Metzger led Derby with 12 points, hitting four three-pointers.
