TEAM PREVIEW
Optimism is high for the Aces as they return eight players who earned all-league honors off last season’s 5-4 team. It was East’s first winning
season since 2012. The Aces’ wide receiver duo of Daylan Jones (6-3, 212) and Caquoy Patterson (5-8, 145) made first team all-league and second team all-league respectively last year. Southeast transfer A.J. King (5-10, 165), who was second team all-league, will join Jones and Patterson. Also back on offense is running back Tobi Osunsanmi (6-2, 205) and tight end Kamerion Hart (5-11, 165)—both of whom were all-league honorable mention last year. Along the offensive line, honorable mention all-league selection Treavor Hunter (5-10, 265) is back. On defense, East returns a pair of honorable mention all-league selections in defensive linemen Juan Navarette (6-3, 250) and Breaden Barley (6-2, 220).
