De Soto boys soccer has gotten off to a promising start in the 2026 season, opening with a 3-1-1 record while continuing to establish itself as a competitive program.

The Wildcats have shown the ability to compete against quality opponents, including a 1-1 overtime draw against Washburn Rural. The early results provide a solid foundation as De Soto moves deeper into the season.

The Wildcats return little experience from last season’s team, so they will have to depend on youth. will look to continue improving as the season progresses. Consistency on both sides of the ball will be important as De Soto faces a challenging schedule and works toward positioning itself for the postseason.
