A high-energy player, Orlando spent extra time this summer improving his outside shot. He already finishes well around the basket, and an improved perimeter game will give him another scoring option. He also provides solid man-to-man defense.

Roberto Sigala (Southwestern Heights)
A returning starter and natural on-court leader, Roberto has a strong defensive mind and consistently anticipates where he needs to be. His deep shooting range makes him dangerous from the perimeter. Strong ballhandling also allows him to beat defenders off the dribble.

Described by his coach as the best shooter he has coached, Grady made 60 3-pointers while shooting 44% from beyond the arc last season. At nearly 6-foot-6, he also brings length to the floor. His athleticism and strength have improved significantly over the past two years.

Emmett Delp (St. John-Hudson)
A two-year starter, Emmett leads the team in numerous statistical categories and works hard every day to prepare for this season and basketball beyond high school. Joey Stirn (Tescott)
A 6-foot senior guard with three years of varsity experience, Joey plays with energy and speed. His ability to push the pace and finish at the rim can put considerable pressure on opponents, especially if he limits turnovers. His leadership and decision-making will help determine the team’s direction.

If he returns, he will be the top returning scorer among the team’s two returning starters after averaging seven points as its third-leading scorer last season. He also earned honorable mention All-Heart of America League recognition. His ability to play inside and outside provides versatility, but his greatest strength is the leadership he brings to the court, school and team.

He became the starting point guard on a league championship team as a freshman and made a strong jump as a sophomore. He can shoot from beyond the arc, attack the rim and finish over defenders. His length allows him to fill several defensive roles, creating deflections and steals that lead to easy opportunities. With much of the roster graduating, he will be counted on to grow in the intangible aspects of the game and provide greater leadership as an upperclassman.
