Salina Central’s Wyatt Huffman recognizes he doesn’t have much of an offseason. He is always trying to get better.
“I wouldn’t say there is much of an offseason for me, but some of the things I do outside of high school bowling are, try to make it to the bowling alley two or three times a week to practice, and bowl leagues,” Huffman said. “Some other things include bowling camps every once in a while, and I try to bowl a tournament every weekend or every other weekend.”
There are several areas that Huffman wants to improve on this season.
“I want to become a better spare shooter, be the best teammate I can be, be a better bowler than I was last year,” Huffman said. “Some goals I have for me and my team are, just have fun but also be competitive at every meet we go to, and make it to state as a team and compete for a state title.”
While Huffman wants to be successful, he is focused on just enjoying his teammates and the journey of the season.
“Some of the things I am most excited for this upcoming season are, bowling with friends, making memoirs, becoming a better bowler than I was last year, and just having fun,” Huffman said.
