Class 6A girls, Class 5A boys and Class 4A girls are sub-state finals

Boys

Andover 49, Emporia 45 — Andover advances to the Class 5A tournament with a 22-0 record. Harper Jonas led Andover with 13 points. Jack Johnson and Jaxson Hurt each had eight points.

Andover Central 61, Bishop Carroll 59 — Andover Central advanced to the Class 5A tournament, ending Bishop Carroll’s unbeaten season. Andover Central outscored Carroll 9-2 in the final 1:35.

Jerome Washington hit a last-second three to give the Jaguars the victory.

Garden Plain 76, Belle Plaine 61

Hillsboro 64, Chase County 30 — Potucek led Hillsboro with 15 points and Ratzlaff ahd 12.

Kapaun 56, Valley Center 38 — Kapaun advanced to the 5A tournament with the win.

Sterling 41, Hutchinson Trinity 30

Wichita Independent 67, West Elk 53

5A boys qualifiers: Andover (22-0), Andover Central (14-8), Basehor-Linwood (20-2), Blue Valley Southwest (9-13), DeSoto (16-6), Highland Park (15-7), Kapaun Mount Carmel (16-6)

Cheney 66, Trinity Academy 64

Clay Center 39, Abilene 29

Derby 43, Dodge City 24 — Derby senior Sydney Nilles had 12 points and eight rebounds in the win. Addy Brown added 11 points and nine rebounds.

Eureka 31, Chaparral 23

Halstead 47, Hesston 34 — Halstead’s Karenna Gerber had 18 points and teammate O’Brien had 14. Hesston’s Kaiser had 10 points.

Hanover 61, Little River 35

Haven 61, SE-Saline 33 — Sara Yutzy scored a team-high 23 points for Haven in the win. Schlesener had 22 for SE-Saline.

Hutchinson Central Christian 48, St. Paul 35

Nickerson 53, Holton 34 — Nickerson was led by Ava Jones’ 23 points and advances to the 4A tournament.

Norton 49, Beloit 47

Topeka 74, Hutchinson 40

Wichita Heights 41, Washburn Rural 30 — Heights advances to the 6A tournament.

6A girls qualifiers: Derby (20-2),Liberal (22-0), Olathe East (17-5), Olathe North (17-5), Olathe South (15-7), SM Northwest (18-4), Topeka (22-0), Wichita Heights (21-1)

4A girls qualifiers: Baldwin (17-5), Bishop Miege (20-2), Buhler (14-8), Chapman (18-4), Clay Center (16-6), Eudora (20-2), KC Piper (20-2), Nickerson (20-2)
