Andale girls basketball coach Ted Anderson passes away

Andale girls basketball coach and middle school teacher Ted Anderson suddenly passed away, according to Andale Athletics’ Twitter page Friday morning.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Anderson had coached the Lady Indians to a 37-32 victory over Haven in the Haven Invitational earlier in the evening. Andale is 8-2 on the season.

Throughout his 23-year career, Anderson had compiled a record of 268-220, including a 95-53 record at Andale. Last season, Anderson led the Indians to a Class 4A semifinal appearance.
