Patience was a virtual for Blue Valley West, as the Jaguars traveled to Wichita South for the Class 6A state tournament. Of course, thunderstorms caused the tournament to be postponed for a day, but that didn’t slow the Jaguars. They first beat Manhattan 3-0, and then edged Washburn Rural 1-0 to win their third straight title.
