Boys

Heights, North 22 — Bronxon Frierson led Heights with 14 points as the Falcons got their first win after starting the season 0-3 for the first time. Marcus Zeigler and Lamon Payne both had 10 points.

Kapaun 56, Southeast 41 — Blake Danitschek scored 20 points in Kapaun’s win, hitting 5 of 6 free throws in the fourth quarter. Jaerus Kennedy added 14 and Grant Johnson had 12, making 8 of 10 free throws.

Jackie Johnson led Southeast with 26 points.

South 61, Northwest 59 — Makye Loggins hit the game-winning shot to beat Northwest, finishing with a team-high 13 points. Malik Storey had 10.

Northwest was led by Deandre Wilson’s 20 points and Darius Cooper’s 14.

Garden Plain 45, Hutchinson Trinity 42 — Kennedy Horacek led Garden Plain with 12 points, and Natasha Dooley had eight rebounds. Brooke Hammond, Madysen Zoglman and Ali Puetz each had six rebounds.

Hayley Hughes and Ryliegh Clifton each had 14 points for Hutch Trinity

Kapaun 37, Southeast 34 — Ella Anciaux led Kapaun with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Maize 55, Campus 19 — Lambert and Pierce each had 10 points for Maize, while Pierce had nine.

Sterling 46, Cheney 43 OT — Linden had 15 points, Beagley 13 to lead Sterling to the win. Cheney’s Kylee Scheer had 25 points, hitting six three-pointers.
