Boys

Belle Plaine 72, Medicine Lodge 53 — Austin Hilton led Belle Plaine with 21 points, while Tim Bible added 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Goessel 40, Wakefield 29 — D. Lindeman had 10 points for Goessel.

Heights 61, East, OT — Alex Norris led Heights to the win over East with a game-high 20 points. Marcus Zeigler added 12 and Lamon Payne had 10.

Heights made six free throws in the overtime to hold off East. It is the Falcons’ third straight win.

East was led by James King’s 14 points and Norman Massey’s 12.

Hesston 41, Clearwater 34 — Hesston’s C. Richardson scored a game-high 18 points for the win over Clearwater. Clearwater was led by Tanner Cash’s 11 points and Drake Beatty’s 10.

Mulvane 57, Halstead 38 — Mulvane was led by Ian Comer’s 15 points, Mason Ellis’ 14 and Trey Abasolo’s 13. Halstead’s Farmer had 15 points.

Rose Hill 50, El Dorado 41 — Rose Hill’s Koby Campbell scored a game-high 28 points to reach 1,000 career points.

Connor Clausing led El Dorado with 10.

Cheney 58, Independent 44 — Cheney’s Kylee Scheer had 27 points and Olivia Albers had 11 as Cheney moves to 6-1.

Circle 49, Buhler 39 — Kimalee Cook led Circle with 21 points in the victory over Buhler. Mallory Cowman added 12.

Garden Plain 53, Kingman 34 — Kennedy Horacek had a game-high 18 points, while Natasha Dooley had 10. Alli Puetz had six steals, while Brooke Hammond, Claire Clark and Anna Smith each had three steals.

Halstead 51, Mulvane 18 —  K. Gerber had a game-high 26 points to lead Halstead to the victory.

Haven 54, Sedgwick 14 — Haven’s Sara Yutzy scored a game-high 22 points, hitting 11 of 15 field goals. Carlee Arnold had seven steals.

Hesston 51, Clearwater 34 — Elise Kaiser scored a game-high 25 points for Hesston, while Clearwater was led by Carli Carlson’s 19 points and five blocks.

Kapaun 60, West 46 — Ella Anciaux led Kapaun with 26 points, while Jennifer Jacobs had 19. L. Owens had 18 for West.

Nickerson 59, Larned 22 — Nickerosn was lead by J. McLean’s 19 points and A. Jones’ 18.

Smoky Valley 44, Hoisington 40 — Ellie Brumbaugh and Kerington Haxton each led Smoky Valley with 12 points, while Breanna Priddy had nine points and nine rebounds.

Wakefield 29, Goessel 21 — Wakefield was led by Pollman’s 12 and T. Copenhauer’s 10.
